Davos on the Delta sits at the crossroads of dramatic change in agriculture, food, and health — where the most innovative entrepreneurs, top industry experts, early adopter customers and smart investors in risk capital come together to map the future of food system innovation.

Celebrating its third year in 2019, Davos on the Delta is dedicated to fostering conversations and relationships focused on the dramatically changing global food system and the new investment opportunities that innovation is creating across the value chain.

This isn’t your usual conference environment; expect an intimate collection of 300 of the most brilliant agricultural minds, forward-thinking investors, cutting edge farmers and restless entrepreneurs engaged in a highly interactive discussion about the future of the global food system at the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN.

Beyond the onstage conversations, Davos on the Delta features an Innovation Showcase highlighting the most cutting edge start-ups as well as the most innovative established companies and regions. There is also the opportunity to participate in a day of Plant Tours and In-Field Demos at Memphis’ renowned Agricenter International as well as additional sessions focused specifically on Indoor Growing and Hemp. It is truly a unique opportunity to collaborate with the groups steering the course of food system innovation today and tomorrow.

Agritecture’s Lead Systems Design, Djavid Amidi-Abraham, will be speaking in two sessions.

The first session will cover retrofit vs new build—where he’ll discuss which is smarter from an ROI perspective and why, where retrofit is an opportunity, and whether growers should build outdoor, brownfield or warehouses. The second session will be on urban farming and you fill the required labor in urban environments.
