An NYC AgTech Week 2017 Event. Tickets available on Eventbrite here.
Agritecture is defined as the art, science, and practice of integrating agriculture into the build environment. Architects are increasingly pushing the boundaries of how to incorporate high-performing agritecture design elements into their projects. Yet there are still many challenges, risks, and unknowns.
How far off are our cities from constructing the wondrous skyscraper vertical farms that Dr. Dickson Despommier initially imagined? How have agritecture concepts manifested in urban spaces so far? How can an architect find answers specific to their project. This session will venture to answer those questions with a few short presentations followed by an architecture/agritecture networking session.
A lite breakfast and coffee will be included.
Cost is $10/person, limited to 40 people.
